Donna Jean brought love and positive energy into every space she entered.
I hope to carry that memory forward and never forget the person who gave me this precious memory.

All of you know how spectacular she was as a wife and mother but she was also spectacular to the families children and educators at St. John’s. I know in retrospect it was a small part of her story.
But WOW- if someone can leave that type of imprint on so many lives she touched at work it just shows her powers. Everyone she knew or met received her gifts.

She was one special lady who never came to work without a smile and open arms to any child or educator who needed it. Her laugh was contagious. We think of her often at work and we receive little signs around the school of her all the time. Even without her there we feel her everyday. Her legacy of the lending library is in our hallway for families and children to enjoy.
One of my most special memories of your mom/wife was how she could always be a support to me. She truly understood how I would feel and she always knew the right thing to say or when I needed a hug or a little note. She instinctively knew what people needed and always made sure to make people feel her love.
Thank you for sharing your mom/wife with us. Please take comfort in knowing she is always remembered.
I most certainly recall D-J as having a very warm smile and countenance, and she was always very friendly to me when we would see each other around Trinity.
I think about DJ with many little things…window sticker decals, when I want to throw “junk” away, Christmas lights, and when I look at my daughter. We bonded over my pregnancy journey and shared experiences.
She is always around and it’s in the small moments I think of her most.
My overarching memory of Donna-Jean is her ability to accept everyone.
She was always very warm and welcoming to everyone, whatever the circumstances. Having experienced and seen it, I know that is appreciated and remembered by many.
We did not get to visit or see you guys as much as we would have liked to (who would have thought 3 kids would keep us so busy, especially 3 at once!)
But whenever we did get together or even talk on that thing called a phone DJ was always welcoming with a smile and a hearty laugh. She made your home our home and we always had a great time.
